Llama llama llama llama!

Via… somewhere. Ugh.

New wave. Old school. Miss you George!

Great little musical remix of George’s standup by Steve Porter and Eli Wilkie. You can snag the song…er…bit… here, who have made it available at Porterhouse Media.

Now go back in the dark woods…

Imagine you’re composing the theme for Twin Peaks. And you do so with David Lynch sitting next to you talking you through the scene. Angelo Badalamenti walks you through just that.

Kinetic Typography + Jonathan Coulton = Awesomepants

Jonathan Coulton is responsible for a key element of one of my favorite games – the song “Still Alive” at the end of Portal. He is the nerd song king. This song is “a triumph, huge success” also!

Really awesome typography animation brings this song to a whole new level of awesomeness. (The maps sequence is super clutch) Kudos to Jarrett on what he says (in the YT comments) is his first animation project!

Ok Go – Last Leaf

I think I like Ok Go’s videos better than their music.

And then there’s this:

All 215 loaves of bread used in the making of this video were past their sell-by date and rescued from the clutches of certain disposal.

And who says murder can’t be pretty. Love the styling of this music video for Flying Lotus. Made by Beeple.

Stop Motion “Grindin’”

This looks pretty cool, then you realize just how cool it really is when you see it’s made from wooden blocks. A stop motion of 4085 photo that must have been a real mind twister to put together by Nobody Beats The Drum’s VJ / visual artist Rogier van der Zwaag.

Nike Music Shoe

I enjoyment this very much.

Or hiking up mountains either, for that matter.

Open Your Heart

I don’t think it’s the most ‘wow’ Michel Gondry vid, but I do <3 its simplicity. The song is ‘Open Your Heart’ by Mia Doi Todd, and the idea of a vid featuring multicolored outfitted peeps had been brewing in Gondry’s brain pot for many years, just waiting for the right song. It does fit it perfectly.
