Take a chance.
Just found an old notebook with this scribbled under a date in 1992. I’d just finished university and was on the dole, wondering what to do next and evidently looking for inspiration to boost my unemployed and confused spirits.
I wish I’d noted if he wrote it or was quoting someone else. Almost made me spend the day re-reading “May Week was in June”” to find it again, but that would just be procrastinating. I should be writing!
